2 for 1—God’s Timing and Light

17 10 2011

So now I’m in the free writing mode yet again. I realize that God’s timing is always perfect; however it is also painful a lot of the time. My heartaches and it doesn’t stop. I don’t know what else to do expect to pray. I wake up with the pain and I go to sleep with the pain. I guess in the end God knows that it is painful to us. What we don’t realize sometimes is that the pain that we feel helps us to keep it when we get it. After all God turns all thing around for the good of those that love Him according to his purpose. I know when I get what I am waiting for I am going to want to do everything to keep it because of the pain that I feel now. The only way I am getting though this pain is because of my faith in what God told me and trusting Him. If I am wrong about this then what He has for me I know is going to be even better, however I can’t imagine anything better than this, expect for my relationship with my lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I already have something I want to say but I can’t yet, that too is in God’s timing. What I have to say only adds to the pain but the more pain the more I will fight to keep it. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The only problem is this tunnel feels like 50 miles long and only a foot wide, so it’s really hard to get though.
The sky is bright but the night is dark, but with Jesus I still have the light. The Light of Christ has to shine even in the darkest times. Jesus says in Matthew 5:14-16″You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all [who are] in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” We need to let the light of Christ that is in us to shine. So, please if you are reading this be a light to this world which has become dark.

Thanks and God Bless

A bit cryptic…

what do you mean by that?

It’s difficult to tell what is painful. Is it God’s timing as is implied by the grammar? Or is it an emotional heartache? Is it physical pain? Or is it the painful longing for what is hoped and not yet realized?

It really is all of the above. That is all painful but God turns it all around. That is at least what I meant.

“The only problem is this tunnel feels like 50 miles long and only a foot wide, so it’s really hard to get though.”

What a great simile! And in a perfectly punctuated compound sentence using a coordinating conjunction! Brilliant! ^_^
